December 21, 2020, Province of Camarines Sur—Vista Mall and Starmall, composed of its local operations team and through the help of volunteers from Naga City, completed handing over of a thousand packs of relief goods allocated to residents of Naga. The donation was made possible through the generosity of Vista Mall and Starmall’s customers, employees, and partners and was facilitated through Mrs. Annabel SJ Vargas of the city’s Social Welfare and Development Office.

The relief packs were distributed among residents of 8 barangays–Pequeña, Balatas, Tinago, Dayangdang, Peñafrancia, Liboton, Abella, Bagumbayan Sur, within the City of Naga. The beneficiaries were chosen via the recommendation from the local government of Naga and Camarines Sur. This donation is part of the malls’ Give Hope Project which aims to assist in the recovery of the families affected by Typhoons Rolly, Siony, and Ulysses. Give Hope Project is a donation drive that enlists the support of Vista Mall and Starmall’s employees, partners, and customers. Donation booths are made available at the common areas of all Vista Malls, Starmalls, and Vista Lifestyle Centers, NOMO and Evia.

The first wave of donations from Give Hope Project were successfully turned over to the residents of Rizal last November. Similar to the relief packs distributed in Naga, the first wave of donations includes rice, canned goods, coffee, and hygiene kits. As we usher in the new year, Vista Mall and Starmall will continue to accept donations through drop-off at the designated donation booths or the admin office of their malls. Donations in the form of the following are accepted: cash, new clothes, bottled water, canned goods, medicine, sanitary products, and other essential supplies.
